Mr. Venkatesh is a seasoned professional with a distinguished career spanning over three decades in the logistics and supply chain industry. With a proven track record of leadership and strategic acumen, he has spearheaded the growth and success of several prominent organizations across India and globally.
 

Professional Experience:

• Indian Institute of Management (IIM Bangalore): Mr. Venkatesh began his career at IIM Bangalore, where he held a pivotal role in administration and finance, showcasing his early aptitude for organizational management.

• Gulf Air (1983-1987): As Sales Manager at Gulf Air, Mr. Venkatesh contributed to the company's growth, positioning it as the second carrier after Air India in the competitive aviation sector.

• Thomas Cook India (1987-1992): Starting as an Assistant Manager in Karnataka, Mr. Venkatesh played a crucial role in establishing Thomas Cook's logistics activities nationwide, eventually rising to the position of General Manager India.

• Hecny Freight India (P) Ltd (1992-1999): Joining as Managing Director, Mr. Venkatesh led the expansion of Hecny Freight's operations in India, establishing 18 offices and achieving a turnover of USD 50 million.

• Atlas Logistics Pvt Ltd (1999-2011): As Chairman & Managing Director, Mr. Venkatesh significantly expanded Atlas Logistics' presence in India and globally, overseeing its growth to 25 offices in India and 13 overseas. The company's turnover reached USD 125 million before its acquisition by SBS Logistics in 2011.

• Transpeed Logistics Pvt Ltd (2017-present): Currently serving as President, Mr. Venkatesh acquired Transpeed in 2017 and has since propelled its growth, increasing turnover from USD 2 million to 6 million and expanding offices from 5 to 9.
